Invasive weeds are threatening the plants, animals and ecosystems of our patrol area. This committee provides basic noxious weed ID training for all PWVs and advanced training for Weed Crew members; patrols trails looking for weeds and verifying weed reports submitted by other PWV members; and educates the public about weeds and weed-free forage for stock; and participates in scheduled group work efforts to control or eradicate known weed infestations.  You will learn to how to identify noxious weeds and the appropriate response and treatment actions for each species, and how to report and document weed infestations. Participation in a weed pull counts toward the 6-patrol expectation.
