Mentors

Mentor patrols are an essential component of training of new volunteers. Mentors take one or two new volunteers on a hike, backpacking trip or horse patrol and help them practice, and become comfortable with, what they learned at spring training. Being a mentor is a great way to meet new volunteers. Mentors for horse patrols are especially needed.
