The process begins with the completion of the new season’s interviews and the annual training at Jacks Gulch. Getting the message out to new recruits and to existing membership that recruiting is everyone’s responsibility is an important component to successful recruiting.  The interactions of our volunteers on the trail and among their friends sharing information about PWV are among our most effective recruiting efforts. The one-on-one interactions our volunteers engage in on the trail and among friends reinforce the value of our mission and the quality of our membership, both of which are compelling recruiting messages. We also take advantage of opportunities to reiterate via email and in the newsletters the importance of member recruiting.  The committee also develops and distributes flyers for PWV and works with the PWV newsletter team to disseminate information via local publications.
